Chicago Arcitecture Commission

"Chicago Architecture Commission" is a commissioned work that took shape during my graduate studies at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in 2003. Tasked by the University's School of Business, I embarked on photographing the essence of their Chicago campus business center.

This collection visually explores the architectural wonders of both Chicago and the University campus, bridging the various spaces where the school operate. With complete artistic freedom, I captured my personal favorite spots between 2000 and 2003, using a medium-sized analog camera.

Today, a curated set of 20 photographs from this endeavor is displayed at the Business Center's Chicago location. This exhibition not only showcases the architectural beauty of these iconic sites but also pays homage to the dynamic connection between academia, art, and urban landscapes.
