Abstract Geometry

"Abstract Geometry" emerges as an exploration of tools and design, through digital manipulation, juxtaposition, and composite imagery. Within this series, I investigate the capabilities of digital tools to create abstract compositions that evolve from basic geometric shapes to complex and intricate constructs.

My work centers on uncovering the expressive potential of digital media. Just as modernist painters harnessed pure paint to create nonrepresentational art, I tap into digital media's unique aesthetics to craft compositions free from specific objects or subjects.

The heart of "Abstract Geometry" lies in its departure from preconceived imagery. Each shape and form develop by modifying basic geometric elements within the application workspace. This process-oriented approach results in images that encapsulate open-ended possibilities, reflecting the computer's multifaceted role as a tool, subject, object, and origin of inspiration.
