Axiomatic

"Axiomatic" is a visual exploration of critical societal issues—energy, environment, health, religion, economy, and education—through a lens of power, manipulation, and systemic control. These fundamental aspects of life, essential to our collective well-being, are often exploited for the benefit of a select few, with or without our consent. This body of work seeks to examine and expose how these power structures dominate and shape our daily existence.

Employing an axonometric perspective—a technique commonly associated with engineering drawings and video games—the work examines these societal issues in a visually engaging yet unsettling manner. By framing the world as a "game," I draw a compelling parallel between the calculated strategies of political and economic power and the ways in which individuals are maneuvered as pawns within these systems.

Through its interplay of form, function, and theme, "Axiomatic" invites viewers to reflect on their place in the world and their relationship to the invisible economic, political, and social forces that shape it. The simplified, game-like aesthetic serves a dual purpose: it distances viewers from the issues, enabling detached analysis, while simultaneously implicating them as active participants in a game orchestrated by unseen hands.

This body of work critiques entrenched power structures while encouraging viewers to contemplate their own agency and responsibility within these systems. By intertwining societal commentary with the visual language of games and engineered systems, "Axiomatic" reveals the delicate balance between the forces that govern our lives and the potential for transformation through collective action.
